Ruud has an air conditioner to fit any lifestyle. There are 10 SEER to 12 SEER models with capacities of 1-1/2 tons to 5 tons, and 13 SEER and 14 SEER models with capacities of 2 tons to 5 tons.

When a gas furnace is not in operation, most send a steady, wasteful draft of warm household air traveling up the venting system and out the roof. Ruud features an induced-draft blower that works in conjunction with a hot surface ignition system to pull hot gases through the heat exchanger at a constant and controlled rate of flow.
