Chicago Heating Repairs
At Standard Heating & Cooling, we understand that every home is different. We know that lifestyles, comfort levels and budgets vary from family to family, which is why we don't take a “one-size-fits-all” approach when it comes to providing Chicago heating repairs, air conditioning repairs or HVAC system installation. At Standard Heating & Cooling we look at the situation totally different, ensuring that you get the energy efficient comfort solution that works for you.
On the initial home visit our Chicago heating repairs and air conditioning experts will start with a survey to find out what you are looking for and what is most important to you and your family. Some families have energy efficiency, warranties and air quality as their top priorities, wanting to cut their energy bills and lessen their allergy symptoms. Other families are looking for a reduction of noise, uncomfortably cold corner bedrooms and dry air that needs to be fixed for improved indoor comfort. At Standard Heating & Cooling, our Chicago heating repairs and air conditioning technicians listen to what you are looking for, and provide a solution that fits your budget while addressing your indoor comfort needs. We also have the experience and know-how to consider other factors to ensure your Chicago HVAC system is working appropriately to provide you with maximum indoor comfort and energy efficiency. The Chicago air conditioning and heating products of today have different requirements than the equipment of yesterday, and if they are going to deliver the efficiency and comfort they are capable of, Standard Heating & Cooling knows just what to look for - from a chimney that may need an aluminum liner to changing the size of ductwork to help eliminate noise or increase airflow to a particular room. Our Chicago heating repairs and air conditioning specialists have the expertise to ensure quality results.
Further more, we don't use the “take-it-or-leave-it” estimate approach. Our in-home estimates are free, and we describe the different levels of products and services available that will meet the needs you expressed to us. We answer questions and offer advice to help YOU decide what system best fits your situation. Most important of all: we put everything in WRITING and SIGN it. This helps eliminate any confusion or misunderstandings down the road and protects you from hidden little extras once the work has begun.
Our goal at Standard Heating & Cooling is to provide you with Total Comfort and Satisfaction when you hire us for heating and cooling services. From common courtesies such as being on time and being polite, to technical issues such as system diagnosis and equipment selection, our Chicago air conditioning and heat repair technicians strive to understand your needs and exceed your expectations. It is our goal that you see them as an advisor you can trust, to help you make an important decision, not a salesman who is trying to force you into a decision.
Whatever your HVAC service needs are - from reliable Chicago heating repairs to air conditioning system installation and maintenance - you can rely on Standard Heating & Cooling for quality results. Chicago Furnace Installation
Looking for Chicago furnace installation service? Be sure that the heating contractor you hire has the right skills. Not all Chicago heating repairs and installation service companies are created equal. So do your research before you hire, and know a little bit about the process so you understand what is going on and don't get ripped off.
When installing a new heating system, the furnace you choose for your Chicago home will have to be the right size. After all, you are seeking a heating solution for your entire home. However, the unit should not be oversized, either. An oversized furnace would lead to overheating at times when the weather is not that cold. You also need to check to see how much heat is being lost through the walls and windows of your home for improved energy efficiency. A professional and experienced Chicago furnace installation contractor will be able to point out all the factors that may be affecting your home's heating efficiency and provide solutions for these issues.
At Standard Heating & Cooling, our Chicago furnace installation experts will help you find the right sized system for your home and budget. After all, you should not face a breakdown in the middle of severe cold weather. We take the time to measure your home to calculate the energy requirements accurately so your heating equipment is sized correctly. Even though this takes extra time, it is time well spent. If the furnace is too large, it will keep kicking on to provide short blasts of air, then shut off. Called short cycling, it is neither efficient nor the most comfortable way to heat your home. (Imagine how much gasoline you would waste if you shut your car off at every stoplight.) We offer a variety of cost effective and of high quality furnaces from top name manufacturers like Ruud and Trane. Learn more about our Chicago furnace installation services and heating products by calling us at 708-387-7700 today.
The Services We Provide in Chicago, IL
Standard Heating & Cooling is Rated: 5 / 5
based on these 4 happy customer reviews.
"I have been using them to service my boiler for quite a long time now. Technicians are friendly and accurate, and they don't rip you off."
- Mr. John F. Chicago, IL | Rated: 3 / 3
"Good guys. They came over to estimate a repair for my older gas furnace and cost $10 less than most companies, then returned to install a part. Transaction was on time with good communication. They also serve the south side which many companies won't."
- Mr. Saverio T. Chicago, IL | Rated: 3 / 3
"After we had a terrible experience with Heatmasters (seriously, it's below zero and you can't call us back when our furnace dies?), we used Standard for a new furnace installation, then again that summer for a new A/C unit (it was a bad year for appliances). That was 2006, and they've been doing our repair and maintenance on our HVAC ever since. The techs have always been friendly, they show up when they say they will, and the price is reasonable.
I can't speak to what previous reviewers have experienced, but we've always felt that we get good customer service from Standard. They've never tried to "upsell" anything to us. I will say that furnace filters are not included in a furnace cleaning with Standard, but they've also never been included in any company I've ever used for furnace cleaning. The filter is something the homeowner cleans - the HVAC company cleans out the actual mechanical equipment."

"Ask for Katie to get your appointment scheduled correctly and ask for Jason to service your unit."
